Welcome Joe Cortese, Andrea Hornbeck, and Andrew Kamp to Team Redmond!
Joe Cortese joins Redmond as Project Engineer II. Formerly with Bulley & Andrews Concrete Restoration, his portfolio includes work at Purdue University, Northwestern University, and the University of Notre Dame. Joe received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Engineering and Technology from Eastern Illinois University. He brings a detail-oriented, client-focused approach to Redmond’s Project Team.
Andrea Hornbeck also joins Redmond as Project Engineer II. Andrea is a creative problem solver, critical thinker, and versatile team member who brings several years of experience to Redmond’s Project Team. She has worked with notable clients including Nicor Gas, Centurylink, the City of Chicago, ComEd, and Motorola. Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and previously worked at HBK Engineering as a designer and surveyor.
Andrew Kamp joins Redmond as Assistant Superintendent. Andrew joins Redmond with several years of experience working on public renovation and remodel projects as well as developing subdivisions and building single-family homes ranging from 500,000 to 1.5 million SF. Andrew’s portfolio includes remodeling the Hines VA Police Security Operations Center and remodeling the Arts Wing of Gates Elementary School for the East Aurora School District as well as completing an additional $7MM in renovations throughout the District. Andrew brings a comprehensive understanding of complex systems and build processes to the team. Since joining the firm, Andrew has already played a pivotal role in supporting Redmond’s Field Team.
