Alex Floresca joins us as Project Engineer II.
Alex joins team Redmond with previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager for a commercial real estate firm. In this role, he helped facilitate and manage tenant improvement projects for national brand name stores using local trade partners throughout the country. His most notable projects include T-Mobile and Five Below. Alex graduated from the University of San Diego, where he studied architecture with a minor in marketing. He is dependable and brings impressive organizational skills to the Project Team.
Sydney Parra joins us as Project Engineer I.
Sydney comes to team Redmond with previous experience as a Project Coordinator at a Chicago-based general contractor where she supported construction projects for leading brands including Crocs, Byline Bank, and Nordstrom. Along with a strong baseline of construction management experience, Sydney brings a positive and resilient attitude and detail oriented approach to the Project Team.
Xiao He joins us as Project Engineer Intern.
Xiao is a fourth-year student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she studies Architecture with a minor in business. After her internship, she plans to study abroad in Spain at the ETSAV Vallès School of Architecture. Her self-disciplined and open-minded nature will help her make a strong impact on Redmond’s Project Team this summer.
Nat Awisha joins us as Project Engineer Intern.
Nat is a fourth-year student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she studies Architecture. In addition to her attention to detail, Nat brings valuable experience from her previous role as design assistant with Atron Regen Interior. She is a detail oriented and reliable team member, and her experience and skills will make a great impact on Redmond’s Project Team this summer.
Brendan Gallo joins us as Estimating Intern.
Brendan is a senior at Northeastern Illinois University where he studies finance. For the past five years, Brendan has worked as a laborer and warehouse driver for Redmond, providing on-site support for Redmond’s active projects across Chicago. Brendan now joins Redmond’s Estimating Team as an Estimating Intern where he boasts strong problem solving skills and expertise of the commercial construction industry from a field perspective, while always being willing to lend a helping hand.
Isabella Pennebaker joins us as Marketing Intern.
Isabella is a senior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she studies advertising. She joined us as Marketing Intern in January 2023, and is now full-time for the summer. Isabella is attentive to detail and eager to learn just about anything. She continues to provide critical support to the Marketing Team as the firm continues to grow.
