Jamie Redmond

Chief Operating Officer & Partner

Jamie comes from a planning and strategy background, and she joined Redmond in 2017 to lead the firm’s operations. Over the years, she has climbed the ranks to Partner and Chief Operating Officer, leading Redmond’s human resources, business operations, and corporate giving efforts. Her commitment to creating a company culture that values employee well-being, inclusivity, and professional development is best illustrated by Redmond’s consistent placement as the top rated general contractor on Crain’s Best Places to Work list.

Prior to joining Redmond, Jamie worked with impact investors and national non-profits focused on clean energy, climate change, and sustainable development initiatives. In addition to leading Redmond’s corporate operations, she pilots Redmond’s mentorship, scholarship, and community engagement programs. Jamie is committed to promoting opportunities for women and minorities to succeed in construction.

Jamie serves on the Board of Directors of World Business Chicago, is the President/Founder of the Redmond Foundation, and is on the Sponsorship Committee for Professional Women in Construction’s Chicago Chapter, an organization focused on advancing diversity in the AEC industries. Jamie is also member of the Economic Club of Chicago, and an angel investor with The Josephine Collective.

Jamie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and an Master of Arts and Master of Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison for her graduate research in Environmental Planning & Policy.
